Here is another set of Lightroom
Print Templates – this set is for simulating a brown mould wooden frames – with and without mats.
Please note that the larger frames may render with less definition than smaller frames. Due to the files sizes, a compromise was made relative to resolution.
Download is available on the Lr Preset Tab
Additional user information
- Since it was the goal to accurately display the relative size between image and frame so as to make the presets appear correctly, the background page sizes required are larger than a printer output size. To get around this requirement and since printers differ from user to user, the page size for the presets were established with a generic Postscript print driver.
- As noted before with previous template post there may be a compatibility issue with Apple Systems.
- Review previous post on how to adjust image within a frame
- Though I have optimized the size of the files for performance, you may consider only loading the size frames that you use most often to minimize template loading speed.
Note !
- Please follow the procedures provide by Adobe for installing presets within the specific Lightroom modules.
- Need installation help - check out Matt Kloskowski’s video
- It is highly recommended, whether you are installing these presets, others that you have found on the web or may have purchased elsewhere, to backup your
database before proceeding with the installation.
Look forward to your comments.

Greetings,
I have LR 1.1 on Windows xp, and I think you may have to include the image of the frame and mat as well in the download zip file. I’ve loaded your templates onto my PC and only the display settings change. There is no frame or mat – are they stored in another directory implemented as a watermark perhaps?
Just trying to help,
Regards,
Bob

Thanks for trying the frames.
I just downloaded the files as if I had never had them on my system, (I’m running under Vista). They loaded as expected.
Make sure the Identity Plate box is checked in the print module.
Also, if you deselect the ID plate or try to find the image file within the ID plate graphic selector, the template will lose it’s link to the file until you restart Lr.
Let me know how it works out.

Update – Bob and I figured out that the issue was with Lr 1.1. Bob updated to 1.4 and frames worked as design.
Thanks Bob for working through this mystery.
