Do sometimes wonder how your images may look hung on a wall in a gallery ?
Or maybe you are just not sure whether your image will look better Landscape framed or Portrait framed.
This got me thinking, what if you could do a simulation of images hung on a wall right within Lightroom. Never having to mat, frame or hang to see what it may look like finished.
I created a Print Template for the Lr PRINT Module, that allows you to select an image and using the template you can see what that image looks like hanging on a wall. Note: Some images because of the capture orientation or cropping may not work as well as others.

This is a very useful tool, but all this template provided was at “graph paper” background with Portrait and Landscape views of the selected image. I assumed there would be a matt and a frame around them, or am I doing something incorrectly?

There is an know issue with MACs and some print templates on Lr version 1.x. Though the templates work on Lr for Windows they do not work on MACs.
I was hoping that it had been resolved with Lr 2.0.
What version are you running ?
