Can’t leave well enough alone

Seems as if I just can not leave well enough alone.
I just returned from a two week trip around the beautiful state of Oregon and have been going over some of my images.

Back to Photography while continuing to develop ….

Cape Cod Light

There are not to many Lighthouses in New England that allow enough room to shoot a “contre-jour” image of a lighthouse at sunset.
Due to the erosion of the shoreline, Cape Cod Light was moved further inland in 1996, offering the opportunity to stand on the east side of the lighthouse.

Something about a Lighthouse

There is just something about lighthouses that just makes you want to take a picture.
For example, here is a very simple lighthouse located at Fort Pickering in Salem Massachusetts.

We saw the light(s)

On our way back to Massachusetts from Portland Maine, my wife and I decided to make a detour to York Beach Maine. Our intent was to see what the Cape Neddick “Nubble” Lighthouse looked like in the winter. To our surprise, it was decorated with lights.
