Draining Color with Lightroom

In the previous post I referenced a preset created for draining all colors except red.
It’s actually easier than you might think.
Here are two images of butterflies where I drained out most of the color.

Technique
In the Lightroom Develop module -

Perform your desired tonal adjustments
In the HSL/Color/Grey scale panel, select Color
Drop all the saturation levels to zero [...]

Adobe Lightroom 2.0 public beta released

Adobe Systems has released Adobe Lightroom 2.0 public beta at Adobe labs.
This is a significant update and includes many of the features that I personally have been looking for in Lightroom.
New enhancements are included in all the modules of Lightroom under the 2.0 beta .
The most significant to me are:

Addition of multiple monitor support

Technique for adding a “Real” signature to prints in Adobe Lightroom

Want to add your real signature directly onto your images and not only along the outside edge ?
Yes, Adobe Lightroom will allow you to apply an Identity Plate of a typed text name and apply it directly onto an image, but it’s just not the same as a real handwritten signature.
